At BBDP, we offer several pathways to take our courses. None of our courses are examined in the traditional sense, however, some courses may have short quiz, coursework, short projects or presentation. Please see below for a list of pathways. Feel free to contact us if you do not find what you are looking for. We might still be able to assist you.
Standalone Self-paced BBDP Courses (SSB)
Most of our courses can be taken as stand alone and at self-pace. This is particularly useful if you are looking to gain knowledge in a specific subject area without the rigor of a full blown certificate program. The courses have varying duration and can be started on demand. Please check our course catalogue for full details of each course requirement. An electronic certificate of acknowledgement (e-cert) will be awarded to anyone who completes a stand-alone course and all its requirements.
Certified Church/Ministry Worker (CCMW)
The CCMW offers a collection of courses that have been carefully selected and bundled to ground delegates in the fundamentals of service in churches and ministries. As such, it is a lengthier programme requiring between two to three months to complete. The BBDP certificate in church/ministry work will be awarded to those who successfully complete the 6 modules and a practical course project within the active registration period (see note 1). Those who successfully complete less than six modules will be awarded a note of attendance.
Certified BBDP Instructor (CBI)
The CBI course is designed for delegates who have completed the CCMW course and the Instructor’s module. They will be trained to deliver instructor-lead course modules online and in person. There are options for delegates to specialize in specific subject areas.
Accredited BBDP Associate (ABA)
This course is for delegates who have completed the CCMW and CBI courses. Delegates will also be required to take practical training in organization development and management of the BBDP. Delegates will then be licensed to independently plan and organize BBDP training programmes for churches.
Notes:
- The length of your active registration (the timeframe allotted for the completion of courses on a given (registration) is one year. A two-year active period can be granted under exceptional circumstances.
